The construction of industrial parks will be one of the key topics during the International Economic Forum, which will take place in October in Lviv.

In particular, it’s planned to introduce to foreign partners industrial parks in Novyi Rozdil and Yavoriv district as an attractive investment area. 

This was discussed at a meeting of the First Deputy Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Rostyslav Zamlynsky with coordinators of projects on creating industrial parks and authorized representatives of operating organizations on July 28, 2015.

Industrial Park in Yavoriv was represented by Olena Bey, coordinator of the project,  Ivan Karpa, Head of Yavoriv District Council and Orest Mykyta, Head of Yavoriv Local Economic Development Agency.

The central questions of meeting were the results of implementing Cross Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013, within which is provided recultivation of degraded areas of Novyi Rozdil and Yavoriv district, as well as preparation of a relevant documentation.

“Industrial parks are those focuses of business, that can provide impetus to the regional development, – said Rostyslav Zamlynsky. – As their construction in Novyi Rozdil and Yavoriv district is implemented within the Cross Border Cooperation Programme, the attitude to the project realization should to be very seriously. Delays in its implementation may negatively affect Ukraie’s reputation as a Grant Recipient, including Lviv region as an implementer of projects”.

The First Deputy Head of the Lviv State Administration instructed the representatives of operating organizations to accelerate the development of projects and project cost estimates documentation of industrial parks, with a view to their inclusion in the investment program for 2016.

“We must adequately represent industrial areas in Novyi Rozdil and Yavoriv district during this year’s Economic Forum, – concluded Rostyslav Zamlynsky.

We remind that  today in the Lviv region is being provided an active realization of four industrial parks projects: in Lviv, Novyi Rozdil, Kamyanka-Buzka and Yavoriv district.

Industrial park in Yavoriv district is planning for providing logistics services, production of goods for the domestic market and export to the European Union. While the industrial park in Novyi Rozdil may be a platform for energy-efficient products, materials and technologies.
