Practical training “Effective negotiations with investors and partners” in Yavoriv

9-10 of July in Yavoriv according to the project under the Cross Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013 “Enterprise development through making investment areas of the Municipality of Lubaczуw accessible and the recultivation of degraded areas of Yavoriv and Novyi Rozdil districts”, was organized the practical training “Effective negotiations with investors and partners” by the main partner of the project – the Institute of Regional Development in Lviv, with participation of the Local Economical Development Agancy of Yavoriv region.

Representatives of training were local authorities, NGOs, businesses, utilities, regional agencies, educational institutions and other interested persons and activists of Yavoriv region.

The aim of training was to acquaint congregated people with a negotiation methods and techniques; effectively prepare for them, learn how to conduct them confidently, avoiding conflict situations, to master the art of persuasion. The main themes within two days training were: structure, stages, tactics negotiations; preparation for negotiations; first contact  (small talk); negotiation techniques; the art of persuasion; social technology behaviors as a basis for effective negotiations; technology completion of negotiations; peculiarities of business communication with partners from different countries; diplomatic protocol and etiquette.

The practical training was performed by trainer of HR management, development of management skills and time management, technologies of effective negotiations, local expert and coach of TACIS programme, chief of HR-committee of Western Ukrainian branch of European Business Association – Ulyana Terletska.  

The participants of training have mastered the practical tools and skills of negotiation by simulations in groups in  a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
