In December 16, 2014 in the premises of the Novoyavorivsk City Council was held training for city council members and city utility companies as part of a joint project “Open City: increased citizen participation in local community development” in Novoyavorivsk.

Novoyavorivsk Mayor Vasyl Muravel ant Head of Local Economic Development Agency of Yavoriv district Orest Mykyta opened training with welcome words. Volodymyr Pavlyuk – national moderator of web platform “Open City” – informed participants in details about principles of effective functioning of electronic resources and focused on the concrete steps of implementation of the system in Novoyavorivsk. Participants took part in the discussion of the key issues of providing e-government and e-democracy in the city.
