On October 29-30, 2014 in Yavoriv was held training “Strategic Management. Development and presentation of strategies of territorial development”, organized by the Institute of Regional Development and Local Economic Development Agency of Yavoriv region.
The participants learned more about current state of area strategic management development in Ukraine; gained practical experience of strategic planning of self territorial communities; acquainted with recommendations for organizational principles of strategic planning; learned how to successfully conduct the discussion and presentation of strategic plans for the self-governing communities.
In training participated heads of Yavoriv district council departments and Yavoriv district state administration, heads of Yavoriv and Novoyavorivsk city councils, deputies, heads of village councils, representatives of Regional Employment Centre and educational institutions, heads of NGOs and other active citizens.

Oleg Karyi – Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of Marketing and Logistics at National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. He worked as a consultant in the development of strategic plans for cities Zhovkva, Kolomyia, Rakhiv, Dolyna, Radekhiv, Vynogradiv, Velykyi Lubin. and has developed and provided training for local governments and public administrations.
Ulyana Terletska – consultant in organizational development and HR management, trainer in personnel management field, development of managerial skills, sales techniques, self-management and time management, techniques of effective negotiations, local expert and coach in TACIS program for the preparation of Ukrainian managers.
